THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON

Come join us as we perpare a community meal with the help of the Pemetic middleschoolers and adults. We will be teaching basic kitchen skills, meal preparation, offering nutrition discussion and serving a community meal.

on January 28 from 1-4
we will be making dumplings, crab ragoon, soups and more. Parents and kids are welcome all in the planning stages.

Boxes of dumplings and wontons will be sold for $5 a box.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Westside Food Pantry.

Conveniently located in the center of Southwest Harbor, Something’s Cookin’ is a multi-purpose meeting space provided by Chiaolin and Ken Korona, owners of Chow Maine, located next door. Some of the possibilities include: receptions, baby or bridal showers, anniversary or birthday celebrations, cocktail parties, company parties, workshops, business meetings, holiday events, lectures/speakers, private parties, open houses, reunions, luncheons, fundraising functions, artist's receptions.

ALSO AVAILABLE

  • temporary private office work space with wi-fi
  • Private chef services for custom cooking lesssons or fine dining in your home.

Amenities: wi-fi, projection equipment, stereo sound system, seating for 40-50, glass topped tables, linens, silverware, glassware, water pitchers, bar space, casual seationg area, handicapped accessible bathroom, ample parking, catering, adjacent commercial kitchen space.

The following items and services may be included: bottled water, coffee/tea service, catering (breakfast fare, simple lunches, soups & salads, dinner), cleaning, wait service/staff.
You are not obligated to use Chow Maine as your catering service.

Available by the hour, half day, full day, or evening. Office space available by the week. Rates for the space will vary according to the use.
